Cancelling Reservation - Request Refund Option

Article summary

Find the reservation you would like to cancel on the Operations Reservations screen. Click on it once.

Click on Status tab

Click on Current Status

Click on Cancelled

If you are reversing this charge to then charge the guest room instead, use the status: Duplicated.

You may also used the statuses: 86-Banned, Denied, Error, Cancelled, Overbook, Unreachable,

Click on Cancel Booking

Enter your reasoning for the cancellation

NOTE: If charging to guest room instead, make sure you are noting for the refund reason.

Check Request Refund box if requesting refund.

Click on Yes

The reservation will now not show on the All Valid Reservations list

To check all cancelations, duplicates, etc for the day, click on the All VALID filter

Select - All STATUS

You will now see all canceled, duplicated, etc items. The status will show as Refund Requested until the refund has been approved or denied.
