Booking Pay Types
Reserved Booking - Reserved Checkout
- Use this Booking flow when you are not expecting any prepayment but you will still have a value.
Deposit Booking - Hold, Manual Payment, Payment Link or Pre Auth Checkouts
- Use this Booking flow when you are creating a booking that will have a deposit and a value.
Pre Pay Booking - Hold, Manual Payment, Payment Link or Pre Auth Checkouts
- Use this Booking flow when you are creating a booking that will have a full prepayment and a value.
Secured Booking -Manual Payment, Payment Link Checkouts
- Use this Booking flow when you are creating a booking that will secure a booking with a credit card but no advance payment, this booking will also have a value.
Custom Pricing Booking - Hold, Manual Payment, Payment Link or Pre Auth Checkouts
- Use this Booking flow when you want to create a booking for a guest but you need to adjust the price of the item, the guest count, the deposit, payment or charge type. This Booking save with a value.
No Minimum Booking - Reserved Checkout (Not Available on Combo Items)
- Use this Booking flow when you want to create a Booking for a guest and save the Booking with a unspecified value, no prepayment.
Full Comp Booking - Reserved Checkout
- Use this Booking flow when you want to create a Booking for a guest and save the Booking with a Full Comp (no value). User can enter a Comp Reference on the item selection screen which will save in the party details.
Waitlist Booking - Hold, Manual Payment, Payment Link, Waitlist
- Use this Booking flow when your venue is full but you want to add your guest to list for the next available location. When the Booking location becomes available, you can con convert your waitlist to a Booking.
Checkout Payment Options
Checkout as a Hold - Customer Pays
- Booking locks in price and removes from item stock. Auto Assign when booking created. Booking will show as Approved/Due on status.
- This Booking type can be transferred into sending an SMS or Email to the party for payment request. After paid, booking will show as Reserved/Paid on status.
Checkout as a Reserved - No UrVenue Payment
- Booking removes from item stock. Auto Assign when booking created. Booking will show as Reserved/None status
Checkout as Request - No UrVenue Payment
- Booking works like a Pre Auth but sends the booking thru approval process before the customer link for payment is approved. Auto Assign when booking paid/confirmed. The Booking will save with a Request/Plan status.
Checkout with a Manual Payment - Staff Check Out
- Use this Checkout option when you have the guest credit card information and you plan to check out on their behalf. The Booking will save with a Reserved/Paid status.
Submit a Pre Auth Request - Once Approved can be Manual Pay or Payment Link
- Booking locks in price but does not remove from stock until paid. If an item is sold out the booking can not be completed. Auto Assign when booking paid/confirmed. Booking will show as Review/Plan status before Manual Pay or Payment Link is initiated.
Manual Post - No UrVenue Payment
- Item has been paid for through another system (POS, Third Party, Room Charge). This marks the item as Reserved/Paid.
