You can now start taking a waitlist based on item type!
When an item type sells out, you can turn on the functionality to start taking a waitlist for the item type instead of turning off the item for sale compeletly.
This function should be discussed in advance with your Relationship Manager and functions for all dates when it is attached directly to your inventory.
However, it can be turned on for a specific day and item if needed without adjusting inventory. To do so follow these steps:
Make sure your configuration is setup to show that items Deactive Stock when Items are Sold Out or Locations Full.
Click on Settings
You will see a list of all of your inventory item stock for the day.
Click on Edit
You will now see all of the Item Override options.
Click on the Out of Stock State dropbox

Click on Waitlist
Click on Save
You will see the item is now listed as Waitlist and has an orange Hue.
You can also see when doing a booking the item now says Waitlist instead of Book
If you were to continue booking, you would click Waitlist. A new popup would appear.
Choose Pay Type and now you only have a Waitlist and Custom option.
Click on Waistlist
Click on Checkout
Enter the guest information as necessary.
Click on Waitlist (it will be your only option).
You will now see the status listed as Waitlist on the Day view and it will be attached to an item type.
