Pacing Grid - Operations
In the Operations Ecosystem, we have implemented a new area called pacing. The purpose of this is to track how many of each item/inventory has been sold for each venue. Pacing will assist the Operations users with how many of a stock item/inventory is left or how busy the venues or activities might be.
1. Click on Operations
2. Choose which venue (if you have access to multiple)
You will automatically be loaded to the Day View of the venue you have chosen
3. Select a day
4. Click on the three dots
5. Click on Pacing
6. You will now see the pacing grid
7. Click in the Venue dropdown box if needed.
The venue chosen will automatically default to the venue you chose in Operations. However, if you have access to multiple venues you can choose another or All Venues.
8. If you choose all venues, you will see a pacing grid like this.
9. You have the option for this to either be a party count or a guest count. Choose from the dropdown list.
NOTE:Guest or Parties is automatically detected but there is a future enhancement that will allow it to switch between the two.
10. You can also choose the time increments for the pacing grid.
Note that some activities or items might be all day so this will not matter to those specifically.
11. Choose the date you would like to see the pacing grid.
It will default to the current day you have on the Guest Services Ecosystem
12. To expand any section, click on the the category header to show the full list of items/activities available.
13. You will see several numbers shown on the Pacing Grid. Let's understand them more.
14. Blue Number - How much you have remaining in stock/inventory.
This could be based on time too depending on the item.
15. Parenthesis Number - How many guests/parties are currently booked
This might show either parties or guests based on how the item itself was created.
16. Green Number - How many guests/parties are expected to arrive.
This might show either parties or guests based on how the item itself was created. It also might be based on time if the item has a time increment for booking (i.e - tours, spa, golf, rentals).
17. Red Number - How many guests/parties are expected to leave.
This might show either parties or guests based on how the item itself was created. It also might be based on time if the item has a time increment for booking (i.e - tours, spa, golf, rentals).
18. Blue Box
The blue box shows if there is a guest expected during that time. Click on the blue box for more information
